Frequently asked questions

After completing the Ground Handling Diploma, which companies can I apply to?
Graduates of TWA-002 are eligible to apply to all major ground handling companies operating at Indian airports — including AI-SATS (Air India SATS), Bird Group, Menzies Aviation, Dnata, and airport operator ground handling teams (AAI, GMR, Adani). Tiger Wings has MoU partnerships with hiring partners for placement support.
The Tiger Wings Ground Handling Diploma (TWA-002) is NSDC affiliated and designed in alignment with IATA AHM (Airport Handling Manual) standards. Direct IATA certification is not part of the base programme, but Tiger Wings is pursuing IATA ATC (Authorised Training Centre) status planned for Year 2–3.
Ground handling work involves ramp activity — outdoors, around aircraft, with some physical demands (loading, equipment operation). Students should be generally fit and healthy. There is no specific height or weight requirement for the course itself, though individual airlines and handling companies may have their own screening criteria for employment.
Yes. Tiger Wings does not penalise students for gap years. If you have completed 10+2 and are over 18, you are eligible for TWA-002 regardless of when you completed your school education. The admissions team will assess your profile in a counselling session.
